What there is to win and who gets a prize.

There is also a small prize for the best play of the evening, awarded by the tournament management with no claim to objectivity whatsoever.
Children win too
Children compete for the prizes on equal terms. There is no separate children’s category and no consolation-prize arrangement: finish in the top three and you get the prize for that place.
Where a prize is not suitable for all ages (a voucher with an age limit, for example), the tournament management provides an equivalent alternative.
The small print
- Prizes are handed out only within the limits of the law. This applies in particular to anything that may not be given to children or young people.
- Prizes are handed over in person on the evening. If you have already left by the prize giving, you can collect yours within two weeks; after that it expires.
- There is no cash alternative.
- Legal recourse is excluded as far as the law allows.
